Daily Mail reported that 80 percent of women in Britain said they will wear a two piece abroad, but never in Britain.

In a survey, 54 percent said they would go topless abroad but none was prepared to do the same in their country. 

Similarly, an overwhelming 91 percent said they wear a bikini overseas, but 80 percent would never been seen in one on a British beach. 

The risk of embarrassment if spotted by an acquaintance is the main reason for modesty, being cited by 51 percent. More children playing on British beaches was the reason given by 42 percent.

데일리메일에 따르면 80%의 영국 여성은 비키니를 외국에서는 입겠지만 국 내에서는 절대 입지 않겠다고 대답했다.

설문조사에서 54%는 해외에서 윗옷 조차 입지 않을 수 있지만, 국내에서는 그럴 수 없다고 말했다.

또, 압도적으로 91%는 해외에서 비키니를 입지만 80%는 영국 해변가에서는 절대 눈에 띄지 않을 것이라고 대답했다.

이 대답자 중 51%는 아는 사람을 만났을 경우 창피하다는 것이 가장 큰 이유였다. 그리고 42%는 해변에서 노는 아이들 때문이라고 답했다.
